A €12 million capital increase and the desire to consolidate its position in the world of domestic retail. The shareholders' meeting of Blooming Group Spa - an Italian multibrand group established in 2017 with the opening of the first Burger King - has approved a €12 million capital increase with the aim of strengthening its strategic development.
The company, which is headquartered in Turin, operates on the market with the Burger King, Yogurteria, Jean Louis David and Oltre and Fiorella Rubino brands, in partnership with the Miroglio Group, and is preparing for a new industrial plan to consolidate its presence in key sectors and to accelerate expansion in the country,' reports a note.
The fundraising is open and looks to a sector that, despite a complex economic phase, is proving to be very dynamic and 'safe' with respect to the uncertainties linked to tariffs and new trade policies imposed at international level. "We are very satisfied with the results achieved so far and with the trust that has been renewed in us by the current shareholders, who have already subscribed half of the approved capital increase," emphasised Davide Canavesio, CEO of Blooming.
The Group has 31 shops in four Italian regions, with more than 500 employees, a portfolio of six brands and an annual turnover in excess of EUR 40 million. "We are open1 to the entry of new investors who wish to participate in this growth path, contributing to the development of a solid, dynamic project with people at the centre," explains Canavesio.
Between 2022 and 2024, Blooming completed five strategic acquisition transactions. These included the purchase of Arilica (9 Burger King restaurants), Gallo's Group (4 BEFED locations, a brand subsequently sold) and the G&P Company (3 Burger King restaurants). Thanks to this last operation, the Group became the main Italian operator of the Burger King brand.
