BofA: launches a $250 billion initiative to fund digital and infrastructure projects

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Bank of America has announced that it will distribute $250 billion to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States (up to 4 July 2027) in support of digital and infrastructure projects in the United States, a move which, according to the bank, will stimulate the economy and help create tens of thousands of jobs. The bank stated that the “Critical Infrastructure Finance Initiative” aims to finance “the development and modernisation of the digital, energy and electricity sectors, as well as critical infrastructure, to help fuel the next era of economic growth, innovation and competitiveness in the United States.”
