The former president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, was rushed to a hospital in Brasília this afternoon, escorted by the criminal police, after suffering a bout of hiccups, vomiting and low blood pressure. This was made known by his eldest son Flávio Bolsonaro, who on his official X account asked for 'everyone's prayers' that it was nothing serious. The episode comes just two days after another admission, during which Bolsonaro had stayed five hours at the Df Star hospital for the removal of skin lesions. On that occasion, doctors had diagnosed iron deficiency anaemia.
Only a few days ago, the Brazilian Supreme Court sentenced Bolsonaro to 27 years and three months imprisonment for attempted coup and other crimes.
