Stock market: Milan (+0.6%) gains momentum as it sets new records, hitting 53,000 points
The Milan Stock Exchange continues to break records. The FTSE MIB gained momentum with a 0.6% rise, surpassing 53,000 points (53,021) and once again setting a new all-time high. Trading was buoyed by aerospace and defence stocks (Avio and Leonardo up 3.4%), alongside a surge in Prysmian (up 4.16%), which topped the index. The Frankfurt (+0.4%) and Paris (+0.2%) stock markets are also gaining momentum.
