Asian stock markets surge on US-Iran deal; Tokyo up 4.9% and Seoul up 5.3%

Asian stock markets are surging on the back of the peace agreement reached between the United States and Iran to end the ongoing conflict in the Middle East: Tokyo, with about half an hour to go before the close, is up 4.9%, Seoul rose by 5.3%, Taipei was up 2.8%, Shanghai gained 1.5%, whilst in Hong Kong the Hang Seng Index rose by half a percentage point.
