Brussels Motor Show: Mazda presents CX-6e, the new 100% electric mid-size SUV
It is the second lithium-ion model the Japanese brand has introduced to its range
Mazda has officially unveiled the new CX-6e electric model, a mid-size suv with a range of over 480 kilometres at a list price starting at around 46,000 euro.
Presented in Brussels, but already previewed last month in Frankfurt at an event dedicated to the international trade press, Mazda CX-6e is positioned within the company's strategy of flexibly addressing the electrification era through targeted management and investment policies up to 2030.
Dimensions and customisation
Produced in China, the CX-6e electric suv reintroduces the philosophy belonging to Kodo design with ad-hoc developments realised by the joint work of the European and Japanese team of insiders.
At 4,850 mm in length, the new Japanese suv accommodates up to five people on board and achieves a load capacity that increases from a minimum of 468 litres to a maximum of 1,434 litres by folding down the second row seats. There is also an 80-litre compartment under the bonnet.
There are seven body colours and the new Nightfall Violet, the shade chosen for the launch, stands out as it changes from a purple sheen to almost black shadows depending on the light.
