BTPs: spread against the Bund narrows to 109 points, yield down to 4.54 per cent

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - The downward trend in the spread between BTp and Bund bonds continues. The yield differential between the Italian 10-year benchmark and the German benchmark bond narrowed at the open to 109 points, down from 111 last night (on Wednesday it stood at 115). The BTp yield has fallen significantly again, to 4.54 per cent from 4.60 per cent the previous day. The yield on the German Bund stands at 3.46 per cent, whilst that on the 10-year French OAT is at 4.83 per cent, down from 4.88 per cent in the previous reading. The spread between the OAT and the Bund has narrowed by two basis points to 137 points.
