BTPs: spread closes higher at 79 points; 10-year yield rises to 4.01 per cent

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - The spread between BTp and Bund bonds closed higher on the MTS secondary market. At the close of trading, the yield spread between the benchmark 10-year BTp and its German counterpart stood at 79 basis points, up from 78 points at last Friday’s close. There was a more pronounced rise in the yield on the benchmark 10-year BTp, which closed at 4.01 per cent, up from 3.98 per cent at the previous close.
