BTPs: spread closes higher at 83 points; 10-year yield rises to 3.98%

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - The spread between BTp and Bund bonds closed higher. At the close of trading on the secondary market, the yield spread between German and Italian 10-year bonds stood at 83 basis points, compared with 80 basis points at the previous day’s close. The yield on the Italia 10-year benchmark bond also closed significantly higher, ending the session at 3.98 per cent, up from 3.90 per cent at the previous close.
