BTp: spread opens higher at 83 points; 10-year yield rises to 4.02%

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - The spread between BTp and Bund opened higher. At the start of trading, the yield spread between the benchmark 10-year BTp and the German Bund of the same maturity stood at 83 basis points, compared with 82 basis points at yesterday’s close. The yield on the benchmark 10-year BTp rose sharply, opening at 4.02 per cent, up from 3.98 per cent at the previous close.
