For the seventh time, Ferrari Trento is the best producer in the world and won the prestigious title of 'Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year' at The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships, the authoritative competition dedicated exclusively to bubbles.
Thirteen gold medals were won by theLunelli Group winery in the 2024 edition: from the non vintage wines, such as the Ferrari Brut, through the Maximum and Perlé lines, to the Ferrari Riserva Lunelli and the Giulio Ferrari. "A result that underlines not only the excellence of the individual Trentodocs," say the company, "but also the House's ability to best express the potential of the territory by declining them in a wide range of labels, each with its own identity but consistent in style.
"We are extremely proud of this recognition," said Matteo Lunelli, president and CEO of Ferrari Trento, "which rewards the work, passion and talent of our entire team. It is an achievement that testifies to our continuous pursuit of excellence and the extraordinary vocation of Trentino and its mountain viticulture, now consecrated at an international level".
But there is more than just Ferrari: Trentodoc confirms itself as the most awarded denomination in Italy, winning 73 medals, of which 29 gold and 44 silver, in a world competition in which this year almost a thousand labels produced in 20 countries participated. For Trentodoc, this is a record both in terms of golds and total medals, which had never been so many.
An acknowledgement that comes just a few days before the third edition of the Trentodoc Festival, a widespread event that from 20 to 22 September will animate Trento and its production territories to discover, tell and taste mountain bubbles.
