Hidden among the eastern shores of Lake Como, it was once the refuge of the stone quarrymen who worked at the ancient Riva di Faggeto Lario stone quarry. Today it could be the new lake dwelling of some lucky buyer. It is the 'Writer's Nest', a dream residence from the late 19th century owned by Giuseppe Guin, journalist and novelist, put up for sale for €6.9 million. Building Heritage - Forbes Global Properties, which has opened a new office in Como located in one of the city's most central squares, Piazza Volta.

"Our office in Como represents an asset that allows us to manage properties such as the one in Faggeto Lario of great impact," said Cinzia Romanelli, CEO of Building Heritage. "It was not by chance that we decided to set up our own office there, a fundamental garrison to be able to guarantee our clients the many properties and buildings of inestimable value.
