Bus and lorry collision in Genoa: one dead and around 20 injured

One person was killed and around twenty injured in a road accident that occurred shortly after 9 p.m. this evening on the A26 at Mele, in the province of Genoa.

About 20 people were injured in the impact, some seriously. Two 118 ambulance cars and four ambulances are on the scene, as well as the fire brigade of the Multedo and Ovada detachments and the Ovada traffic police.
Traffic is blocked at kilometre 9. The motorway is closed at Masone in the direction of Genoa Voltri.
