A strong development since its inception in 2014 has taken the BZar group from four hotels in 2018 to 35 hotels in the portfolio today, between those opened and opening by 2026. The idea is by Filippo Ribacchi with his two partners Alessia Melisi and Kaja Osinski.
The group is finalising the development of three luxury hotels in the cities of Milan, Venice and Rome, as well as several hotels in fast-growing cities such as Naples, Palermo and Genoa. In Milan, the hotel will be located near the historical Brera district. In Venice, the hotel will be located in the heart of the lagoon city, offering a concept for slow tourism. In Rome, the property will boast a panoramic terrace, a spa and a refined restaurant, embodying the urban resort concept.
Innovative is the business model based on a flexible approach that combines the direct acquisition of real estate with the management of facilities in partnership with other owners.
'In third-party property management operations, we collaborate with leading national and international financial and real estate partners. Some of our main partners include credit institutions and specialised investment funds,' says Ribacchi.
"The next openings will be concentrated in regions such as Liguria, Emilia-Romagna, and Tuscany, to satisfy an expanding market and offer diversified experiences in less-trodden but fascinating areas with potential for strong growth," says Ribacchi. "At the same time, we are developing projects in Sicily and Campania, territories that combine an extraordinary cultural heritage with a rich and dynamic social fabric, ideal for authentic, quality tourism.
