Canadian Deputy Premier and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland resigned from Justin Trudeau's government today. She announced this herself today by posting her resignation letter on social media, in which she reveals that on Friday the premier told her 'that he no longer wanted me to serve as finance minister and offered me another position in the government'.
