Sardinia and Abruzzo, six victims of road accidents
Among deaths between Villagrande Strisaili and Tortolì, in Ogliastra, three others in the municipality of Atessa
Three men of North African origin, aged between 31 and 33, died this morning in their car, which crashed from a small bridge into a stream along provincial road 27, between Villagrande Strisaili and Tortolì, in Ogliastra. For reasons that are still being ascertained, the car went off the road as it rounded a bend at the entrance to the small bridge, falling about ten metres. The Nuoro fire brigade, the Lanusei carabinieri and the 118 emergency services were on the scene, whose doctors could only ascertain the death of the three men.
In Abruzzo, three people died in a road accident on state road 652 Fondovalle Sangro in the municipality of Atessa, in the province of Chieti. This was announced by Anas. The road is closed in both directions. The accident, the causes of which are being investigated, involved two vehicles. At the moment, vehicular traffic is being diverted along local roads with directions on site. The police, 118 and Anas personnel are on the scene to restore traffic as quickly as possible.
