The manoeuvre of 18 billion that lands on the table of the council of ministers is also composed of a family package, which will weigh 1.6 billion with the financing of the reform of thefamily caregiver and the enhancement of the bonus for working mothers with at least two children and annual incomes below 40,000 euro. In the first case, that of the family caregiver, specific resources will be allocated to the completion of the reform of the role of care and assistance.
Strengthened mothers' bonus from 40 to 60 euro per month
In fact, the Budget Planning Document sent by the MEF to the European Commission clarifies that the measure already envisaged in 2025 for working mothers of two or more children with an annual earned income not exceeding 40,000 euro is enhanced for 2026. The working mothers' bonus rises from 40 to 60 euro per month.

Still on the family front, the manoeuvre provides for the refinancing for two years of the 'Dedicated to you card' intended for the purchase of essential foodstuffs.
