Carlo Ancelotti is the newTechnical Commissioner of Brazil: this was announced by the Brazilian football federation, Cbf, in a tweet in which it stressed that the world's most successful national team will be coached by the most successful coach.
Before his farewell to Real Madrid was announced, the Brazilian federation officially announced on their social profiles the agreement with the Italian coach, who will take over as head coach of the club from June. Ancelotti has signed a contract until the end of the 2026 World Cup and will make his debut in the next two qualifying matches against Ecuador and Paraguay next month.
Ednaldo Rodrigues, president of the CBF, said: 'Bringing Carlo Ancelotti to lead Brazil is more than a strategic decision. It is a declaration to the world of our determination to regain the top spot on the podium. He is the greatest coach in history and now leads the best national team on the planet. Together, we will write glorious new chapters for Brazilian football'.
As soon as the announcement arrived, among other things, the Brazilian Football Association website literally went tilt.
