Italian car sales: up 3.15% to 69,411 registrations in August; up 8.54% in the first eight months
In July, the figure stood at +3.9 per cent, marking a steady rise since the start of the year
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - , 1 September - Following the rise seen in the first seven months of the year, car registrations on the Italian market continued on the right track in August, albeit at a slower pace. Last month, according to figures released by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, 69,411 cars were registered, representing a 3.15 per cent increase compared with August 2025, when 67,290 were registered (in July, 123,184 cars were registered, up 3.9 per cent). In the first eight months of the year, 1.129 million cars were registered, up 8.54 per cent on the 1.04 million registered in the January–August 2025 period.
