Airports: flights suspended in Catania until 6 pm due to the eruption of Mount Etna

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Flights to and from Catania Airport have been suspended until 6 pm today due to volcanic activity on Mount Etna. This is according to an update published on the Sicilian airport’s website.
“Due to volcanic activity on Mount Etna and in view of the wind conditions, Sector B3 has been closed. Arrivals and departures are suspended until 6 pm,” states the SAC press release.
