Ces 2026, Leapmotor unveils new platform developed with Qualcomm
Debut for Snapdragon 8797 automotive architecture
Key points
Leapmotor chooses the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas for the debut of its dual Snapdragon 8797 platform dedicated to cars. The Chinese brand in the Stellantis orbit debuts the world's first centralised computing architecture for vehicles based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Cockpit Premium Edition platforms, dedicated to managing in-dash controls and information, and Snapdragon Ride Premium Edition that governs driving dynamics.
Developed to reduce development costs and implementation and operational complexity, it integrates driver assistance, connectivity, vehicle control (lighting, temperature, doors/windows) and smart cockpit functions in a single system. Thanks to its dual-chipset configuration, it has all the necessary computing capacity and at the same time provides functions related to artificial intelligence.
