Chanel and Miu Miu are the most searched-for brands online
In the ‘top 5’ of the Lyst Index for the second quarter of 2026, Dior, Saint Laurent and Gucci are followed by Massimo Dutti (Inditex), the brand that has climbed the most places
The research and analytics firm Lyst has published the second-quarter (April–June) edition of the Lyst Index, which ranks the most searched-for brands and products (online and beyond) in the fashion sector. The most famous fashion houses continue to dominate the rankings, but the Index provides valuable insights into trends relating specifically to accessories, with sport continuing to influence choices – or at least desires.
Brands in the top 20 that are ‘under close scrutiny’
The top five spots are held by Chanel, Miu Miu, Dior, Saint Laurent and Gucci, but analysts at Lyst also highlight other brands and explain their success. Chanel retains its leading position thanks in part to the launch of the Coco Beach and Métiers d’Art 2026 collections, which have boosted the brand’s profile, whilst searches for its sunglasses on Lyst have risen by 70 per cent. Miu Miu (a Prada Group brand) has climbed two places, following a 30 per cent rise in searches, driven in particular by interest in crochet bags, sunglasses and the new collaboration between New Balance and Miu Miu, which this time also featured tennis champion Coco Gauff. Massimo Dutti (part of the Inditex Group) is the brand that has climbed the most places this quarter, rising eight places following a 43 per cent increase in search queries, fuelled by Bella Hadid’s endorsement during the Cannes Film Festival and growing demand for its high-end Mediterranean-inspired garments. Céline (LVMH Group) has moved up from twentieth to fifteenth place following a 31 per cent rise in search queries, linked to the vision for the fashion house presented by creative director Michael Rider. Phoebe Philo (who previously revived the Céline brand) has entered the Lyst Index for the first time (in 18th place) for the first time, following a 29 per cent rise in searches, reflecting the growing momentum of the designer’s retail strategy, which began two years ago ‘solely’ through the online channel. Chloé is in eleventh place, having climbed three places, thanks in particular to searches for the Jelly Mules, one of the most sought-after products this quarter (+657 per cent). Jacquemus re-enters the rankings (in 19th place), buoyed by the season (the brand’s spring-summer collections are the most popular).
The most sought-after products
Summer footwear tops the search rankings for individual products, accounting for four of the ten items that have most piqued the curiosity of web users: Ssims’ Jelly Shoes (+2,170% in searches), Gucci’s Vittoria heels (+1,322%), Chloé’s Jelly Mules (+657%) and Massimo Dutti’s Toe sandals (+304%). In the clothing category, the standout items are Issey Miyake’s Madame-T stole (+501 per cent in searches), DÔEN’s Iona shorts (+96 per cent) and Zimmermann’s Daylight dress (+322 per cent), three examples that further demonstrate the growing interest in holiday-appropriate clothing. Lyst’s analysts highlight that it is not just sport in general, but individual sporting events that continue to influence fashion shopping, with a surge in searches for the New York Knicks cap (+4,276 per cent) and the Adidas x Willy Chavarria football shirt (+373%) coinciding with their respective major events, the NBA Final and the FIFA World Cup.
