Changan unveils its second model for Europe at the IAA Mobility, which runs until 14 September. Its name is Deepal S05 and it is a fully electric C-Suv equipped with a 68.8 kWh high-voltage lithium-ferrous phosphate battery, which can be recharged at a fast-charging station with a power output of up to 200 kW, allowing a range of up to 485 kilometres.
Designed in Europe for Europe
.With roots in the Turin Design Centre and Birmingham R&D Centre, the Deepal S05 is the second model for Europe after the Deepal S07 D-Suv and is distinguished by its compact dimensions: 4,598 mm long, 1,900 mm wide and 1,600 mm high.
The styling is characterised by clean lines, domed wheel arches and a sporty, dynamic silhouette to emphasise the European character of the five-door C-Suv at first glance. Frameless windows and flush, electric door handles give the new model a luxurious appearance and outstanding aerodynamics.
With a drag coefficient of only 0.25, the Deepal S05 sets new standards in terms of efficiency and range. A distinctive feature of the new Chinese model is the active front grille, which closes at high speeds, further contributing to the Deepal S05's aerodynamics and efficiency.
