Changing life is not a leap into the void but a journey within oneself
Manfredi Roesler Franz's 'life story' book, Lascio tutto e riparto da me, is now in bookshops from De Agostini Editore
"Give yourself an honest answer". This is how Manfredi Roesler Franz, in the last pages of his book Lascio tutto e riparto da me suggests tackling life's important questions, at times of crucial choices.
A piece of advice that is anything but trivial. Roesler Franz is young, he was a statistics student, he specialised in data science in New York, he has tasted the life of a career boy, the mood of the Milan that runs and glitters, the economic tranquillity but at the same time the routine, the imposed times, the goals of a system that decides for you, the cage. And it is precisely his honest answer that freed him from the bars in which he felt constrained and from which he decided to escape.
No headshots nor immature or naïve decisions, his story is that of a conscious process that took him step by step from the office of a large insurance company, from aperitifs with colleagues, the convertible car as status symbol, to the cold of the snowy forests, the wind of the islands, the violence of the ocean but also the joy of freedom.
I leave everything and start again from me is the story of a journey but also the testimony of a slow revelation and the search for a continuous amazement.
Videomaker
The 'new' Roesler Franz is a videomaker, an explorer with a following of enthusiasts and curious people who share his experiences, who seek inspiration and new destinations, but his path is not improvised, even for this second life he has prepared and studied.
