Chery: Lepas arrives, the third brand in Italy after Omoda and Jaecoo

The Chery group's offensive on the Italian market continues. After the launch of Omoda &Jaecoo in 2024, the Wuhu-based Chinese group is preparing to broaden its offering by launching Lepas, a new brand that, as far as we know to date, should be positioned in the medium-high end of the market. Indiscretions reveal that there will be three models ready for their Italian debut, covering segments C, D and E. The ei motor range is not known, but no doubt there will be hybrid powertrains.

It is still too early to talk about prices, but these first exclusive images show the L8, the flagship and the first of the upcoming cars.

This indiscretion adds to what the Chery group already announced during the Shanghai show with the announcement on European markets of the Icaur brand, dedicated to electric off-roaders and range extenders.
