Chery iCar V23, the retro off-road style electric compact SUV (arrives in Italy)

The iCar V23 showcased at the Shanghai motor show is Chery's SUV that combines retro off-road styling, much inspired by the styling language of Jeep and Toyota Land Cruiser) with cutting-edge technological solutions. the different options: rear-wheel drive (RWD) with a 100 kW (134 hp) electric motor and 180 Nm of torque or all-wheel drive (AWD) that adds a 55 kW (74 hp) and 112 Nm front electric motor.

Two batteries respectively of 59.93 kWh for a range of 400 km and 81.76 kWh for a range of up to 500 km. With fast charging, the battery can go from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes. A 3.3 kW external drain function is also available. The SUV can also be customised with removable mudguards and off-road bumpers. The iCar V23 is distinguished by an aesthetic inspired by classic off-road vehicles with round headlights and a boxy silhouette.

Functional elements such as a roof rack, retractable door handles and an exterior rear storage compartment add practicality to a very robust appearance. Inside, the iCar V23 offers an ambience that is not only modern but also functional, with a touchscreen infotainment system that also combines a 15.5-inch screen in turn powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip.
