Aromatic candles and scent diffusers are a perfect way to create a magical and cosy atmosphere during the holiday season. The aromas they give off can completely transform the room, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere. The choice of ingredients is wide, ranging from scents such as cinnamon, citrus, vanilla, fir and more. Cinnamon exudes a sweet and spicy scent that immediately reminds one of Christmas, while citrus adds a fresh and lively note. Vanilla creates a cosy and comforting atmosphere, while the smell of fir evokes the image of a freshly cut Christmas tree. Besides creating a pleasant atmosphere, aromatic candles can also help you relax and reduce the stress accumulated during the hectic festive period.

Fragrances, but especially candles, are a decorative element to brighten up the home. Candles of different sizes and colours can be used, placing them on shelves, tables or centrepieces. Christmas candles can be combined with small decorative items such as pine cones, red berries or fir branches to add a festive touch. Some candle holders are so beautiful that, once the candle has been used up, they can be reused as elegant holders for brushes, pens or flower vases. To clean them thoroughly, simply pour hot water into them and repeat the process until the glass is completely free of residue. Once cleaned, it should be dried with a sheet of paper towels for a perfect result.

It may seem obvious, but there are some basic rules for proper candle lighting. The first thing to do is to always shorten the wick, as a misaligned one may consume more glass than wax, compromising the diffusion of the scent. The wick should be shortened every time the candle is lit, and the candle should also be left burning for at least two hours when first used, allowing the entire surface to burn evenly to avoid depressions that could cause the wick to disappear. The candle should be extinguished gently so as not to create wax splatters or tilt the wick; for this purpose, it is advisable to use a steel or bronze candle extinguisher. At the end of lighting, it is important to put the wick back in the centre while the wax is still flowing to prevent it from shifting and blackening the glass of the container. Another tip to prolong the life of the candle is to place it in an environment that is not too dry, otherwise it will burn out faster. If the candle is not used for a while, it is best to close it with a lid to prevent dust accumulation.
