An important anniversary is on the horizon - the 40th anniversary of the company, which was founded in 1985 by Enza Gallina -, a year filed with positive results despite the critical period that fashion and luxury are experiencing: 52 million euros in revenues and an Ebitda margin of 10 per cent. Cieffe, a company active in the design, prototyping and production of high-end clothing, is experiencing an encouraging moment: the company in Soncino (Cr), which since 2005 has been led by Marco Panzeri, the founder's son, owes this success also to continuous investment in research and development (1.7 million in 2024, eight million in the last nine years) and to the path, begun four years ago, of transformation into an ecosystem of 'zero km' producers with the acquisitions of three workshops - Franc'obollo, New Mood and Silvermacs - and a minority shareholding (35%) in Maglificio Peve. The latest step in this process: the acquisition of 35% of the Spazio Moda shirt factory in San Bassano (Cr), which took place in 2024..

The focus on welfare: from the newborn bonus to the gym

Among the group's various initiatives is a focus on welfare with paths for the enhancement and development of skills for the 250 employees (88% of whom are women), support for families with a contribution of 200 euro per month to new parents, and the opening of a gym for employees. Also dedicated to this will be the new 3,000 square metre area just opened as an expansion of the headquarters, the result of a 7 million euro investment.

"The new Welfare Plan represents a very significant and ambitious project for Cieffe, perfectly exemplifying our mission that focuses on the people who help us achieve ambitious goals every day," said Marco Panzeri, CEO of Cieffe. "We are particularly proud to be able to launch it on the occasion of our 40th anniversary, as a further demonstration of the path of growth and evolution that we have taken so far and that we plan to continue, setting ourselves new goals and challenges for the near future.

In detail, the Cieffe Welfare Plan focuses on three key areas: social; health&wellness and personal development. In addition to the aforementioned monthly contribution for parents (to whom online courses and a manual for managing pre- and post-birth bureaucracy are also dedicated), Cieffe has structured for its employees personal skills enhancement courses (English and French language courses; training on hard and soft skills). Cieffe employees also have access to a dedicated platform - UpDay Welfare - within which an annual sum is channelled in order to select and activate various solutions related to their children's education or social security and welfare payments, shopping vouchers and leisure proposals.

In the near future, an initiative will also be developed in partnership with the Crema Ats Veterinary Department to allow employees to bring their dogs with them to the workplace in equipped and controlled areas.

Again with the intention of enhancing personnel and skills, in 2023 Cieffe launched an internal Academy in cooperation with local educational institutions.
