In the heart of the Cilento region, recognised by Unesco as an Emblematic Community of the Mediterranean Diet, the 'Cilento Mediterraneo' initiative was launched to renew the local tourist offer by integrating Mediterranean history and food culture. The BSB-Cilento Mediterraneo partnership, promoted by Scabec and the Campania Region, aims to develop a local model that enhances the area surrounding the municipality of Centola-Palinuro as a tourist system, focusing on food to improve the quality of life.

The 'Mare/Monti' project in the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni Park connects communities, businesses and institutions to promote innovation and pride in the Cilento lands through integrated culinary, cultural and tourism experiences.
