French carmaker Citroen told Afp that it has recalled more than 600,000 C3 and DS3 cars in some 20 countries due to an airbag problem on models produced between 2009 and 2019, which are no longer marketed.
Some 605,772 vehicles are affected in some 20 countries in southern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. The recall affects 497,171 Citroen C3s and 108,601 DS3s, "models produced between 2009 and 2019, which are no longer marketed," explained a spokesperson for the carmaker which is part of the Stellantis group.
