Positive results for the 2024 edition of the Festival, which was able to count on more than 300 events, 40,000 attendees including speakers and visitors, high-profile guests such as the five Nobel Prize winners hosted in Trento, alongside 22 ministers and the Prime Minister, 80 speakers from the academic world, 40 economists, international speakers, managers and entrepreneurs.
The collaboration between the Autonomous Province of Trento and Sole24 Ore, which will thus organise the next editions of the Festival, has been confirmed for the next three years. Over four days, events were staged as part of the "Fuori Festival", "Economie dei Territori", and "Incontri con l'Autore" initiatives, combining debates on current affairs and the unknowns of our time - the theme chosen for the 2024 edition - and major interviews with the protagonists of the international economy alongside music, entertainment and events organised in the square by Radio24.
"We will start working on the next edition, the twentieth, from September," says the editor-in-chief of Sole 24 Ore, Fabio Tamburini, "without skimping on the complexity of the topics and the depth of the questions. Have we managed to answer any of the questions? I don't know, but we certainly contributed to raising people's awareness'. The strength of the Trento event, recalls Mirja Cartia d'Asero, 'was certainly the participation of young people not only in the Festival events but also in the more challenging lectures given by economists and Nobel Prize winners.
The format of the Festival, recalls Trentino Marketing CEO Maurizio Rossini, "can count on a robust network of sponsors and on a capillary organisation that has involved us and the various structures of the Sole 24 Ore Group". A successful format that is confirmed and that "will become increasingly important thanks to the suggestions that have come directly from the public", points out Federico Silvestri head of Sole 24 Ore Eventi.
For the chairman of the Sole 24 Ore Group, Edoardo Garrone, 'it was an extraordinarily important edition in terms of the relevance of the themes and the realtors and the presence of the public, of all ages, this being the Festival's hallmark, to give keys to reading a complex future with attention and hope'.
