News on the company car front and on that of the household appliance bonus arrives in the passage of the Bollette decree in the Productive Activities Committee of the Chamber of Deputies. On the first front, the easing of the fiscal squeeze on company cars considered polluting, granted by an amendment of the rapporteurs to the Bills Decree, will be limited to the first half of 2025. The proposed amendment, which received the OK of the House Committee on Production Activities, excludes from the tax relief provided by the last budget law vehicles ordered by 31 December 2024 and delivered no later than 30 June 2025.

Ok change home appliance bonus, no click day

On the second front, on the other hand, the Productive Activities Commission gave the go-ahead to the FdI amendment (first signature Giovine) that rewrites the modalities for using the home appliance bonus. The amendment introduces the discount on the invoice as the method for taking advantage of the facilitation, overcoming the click day model. At the same time, the amendment overcomes the minimum energy class threshold, which risked penalising made-in-Italy production.

Funds for company cars

.

The decision not to extend the deadline would be dictated by the difficulty of finding additional resources to those already earmarked in the rule, amounting to EUR 8.3 million in 2025, EUR 9.5 million per year for 2026 and 2027, and EUR 1.2 million in 2028.

The process of the measure

The Productive Activities Committee of the Chamber of Deputies has concluded its examination of the amendments to the bill decree and approved the mandate for rapporteurs Gianluca Caramanna (FdI) and Andrea Barabotti (Lega) to report back to the Chamber, where the measure is expected to be presented on Monday 14 April. The measure, which expires on 29 April, will then go to the Senate for a second reading.
