Concerts in Europe and Italy: all the best to put in your diary
Historic festivals, stadium tours and independent festivals return to occupy the European and Italian music summer
In 2026, live activity will again focus on major summer events. The main European festivals have set dates and announced the first artists, while in Italy, international tours are multiplying in stadiums and racecourses. Alongside the large numbers, smaller festivals continue to intercept specific audiences.
Primavera Sound
The Primavera Sound will take place in Barcelona from 3 to 7 June 2026. The bill will include The Cure, Gorillaz, Doja Cat, Massive Attack, The xx, Skrillex, My Bloody Valentine, Peggy Gou and Little Simz, confirming the festival's centrality in the European circuit.
Sziget Festival
The Sziget Festival is scheduled to take place in Budapest from 11 to 15 August, with a selection of international artists partly already announced and more names expected in the coming months.
Glastonbury Festival
The Glastonbury Festival will not take place in 2026, in line with the organisers' planned break cycle. Its absence changes the balance of the British calendar and reinforces the weight of the continent's other major summer events.
The Big Concerts in Italy
Notable dates include The Weeknd's three consecutive nights at Milan's San Siro Stadium on 24, 25 and 26 July, when he will have already played Bruno Mars, scheduled for the 14th of the same month. Bad Bunny will be in Italy on 17 and 18 July at the Ippodromo SNAI La Maura in Milan, the first Italian dates of his world tour. Rosalía is expected in Milan on 25 March with an indoor concert marking her return to Europe after her last tour. Vasco Rossi will also return to the stadium circuit, with a series of concerts in May and June. These will be joined by tours of international artists such as Metallica, Foo Fighters and Maroon 5, confirming the centrality of Italy in the European routes of major tours.
