Accademia Cortina: training in tourism and hospitality for 30 young people
A programme aimed at young people aged between 18 and 35 from across Italia. The project aims to develop the skills needed for the growth of the tourism sector following the Milan–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
Applications are now open for the second edition of “Accademia Cortina – Excellence in Hospitality and the Culture of Wellbeing”, the free training programme aimed at 30 young people aged between 18 and 35 who are interested in building their professional future in the sectors of tourism, hospitality and regional development.
The initiative
Organised by the Municipality of Cortina d’Ampezzo with the support of ANCI – the National Association of Italian Municipalities, the initiative has been designed and will be delivered by LEME – Luiss Executive Management Education, the Luiss Business School subsidiary specialising in non-degree executive training in the field of management disciplines, through programmes tailored to the specific needs of companies and professionals.
The new edition is open to participants from all over Italia, whilst offering preferential treatment to residents of Cortina d’Ampezzo and the Veneto and Lombardy regions.
The route
The programme has been set up with the aim of transforming the legacy of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games into new opportunities for growth in the region, by investing in the development of the skills and professional capabilities of the younger generations.
