Credem: CEO Angelo Campani dies of a sudden illness

The Credem bank has announced that, during the morning, the General Manager, Angelo Campani, passed away following a sudden illness. Employees, Credem and Credemholding Board of Directors and Shareholders express their heartfelt and affectionate condolences to his wife, children and all his family.

Credem's Board of Directors has been convened for next 9 July in order to take the consequent decisions. "In the meantime, the operational continuity of the Bank and of the Group is guaranteed by the existing proxies and by the supervision that all the members of the General Management exercise on the different business areas," reads the note.

In the meantime, the operational continuity of the Bank and the Group is ensured by the delegations in place and the supervision exercised by all members of the Executive Board over the various corporate areas.
