Another crypto millionaire will turn himself in to the New York police, who want to interrogate him over the affair of the Italian who was allegedly kidnapped and tortured for weeks in a posh Soho flat.
The New York Post reveals this, specifying that lawyers for the Swiss citizen, co-founder of a trading company in Switzerland, are negotiating to allow him to turn himself in to the investigators, who arrested John Woeltz, a Kentucky-based crypto executive, after on 23 May 2025 Michael Carturan managed to get out of the flat where he had been tortured.
Woman detained in New York for kidnapping: it's all a misunderstanding
"It's all a misunderstanding". This is what Beatrice Folchi, the 24-year-old girl involved in the investigation into the kidnapping and alleged torture of Carturan, allegedly told some of her acquaintances in Latina.
Against the woman, a native of the Pontine capital, the Manhattan district attorney's office declined to prosecute, 'pending further investigation'.
Before studying communication and philosophy at the University of Connecticut, and then working in marketing for major clients, she graduated from the Ettore Majorana high school in Latina, before leaving the Pontine city for America six years ago.
