Culture, Federculture contract renewal agreement

It was signed in Rome at the headquarters of WeGil by the Negotiating Committee of Federculture and the representatives of OO.SS. FP CGIL, CISL FP, UIL FPL and UIL PA the preliminary agreement for the renewal of the National Labour Contract Federculture. The agreement, which closes the renewal for the three-year period 2021-2024, provides for an overall increase of 7.5% of the minimum pay scale as of 01.12.2021 with effect from 1 December 2024 and the payment to staff in service as of today's date of an overall amount of € 1,850.00 for the 2nd level of the 2nd band as arrears, for the period January 2022 - November 2024.

In addition, an increase to EUR 28.17 for 12 months is envisaged in the quota that the companies in the sector allocate to a Fund and/or Institution/Insurance for supplementary health care for each permanent worker, doubling the current quota envisaged in the Contract, in order to guarantee workers a better level of performance in health care. Including this increase, the overall economic increase is over 8 per cent.

On a regulatory level, the agreement signed modifies the personnel classification system of the CCNL, in the direction of a simplification of the classification levels in the areas, which remain three, but divided Area I and Area II into three levels each (A-B-C) and Area III into four levels (A-B-C-D). Thus, the current 18 levels in the between areas are reduced to 10 levels under the new agreement. Finally, in view of the urgency of continuing the work for the next three-year period, which is about to expire, the parties made a commitment to immediately open negotiations for the renewal of the 2025-2027 CCNL.

This renewal has been achieved with the contribution and effort of everyone, which has seen the commitment of the country's main trade unions, proof that culture is a crucial sector not only of our national identity but also of our economy.
