Cupra Raval, how the compact electric goes
Driven in camouflage version, it will arrive in 2026
Cupra Raval is preparing to debut in its final form in March 2026. In the meantime, we had the chance to drive it still camouflaged and with the interior completely covered, discovering for now how fun an electric compact car can be around corners. Built on the Meb+ native front-wheel-drive electric platform shared with the Volkswagen ID.Polo, ID.Cross and Skoda Epiq, it promises a range of 400 kilometres or more.
Cupra Raval 2026
On the numbers front, the Raval claims a length of 4,046 mm, a width of 1,784 mm, a wheelbase of 1,518 mm and a wheelbase of 2,600 mm, which we appreciate once we get on board for the space guaranteed both front and rear. No information on battery capacity, other than an expected range of around 400 kilometres. Three versions are expected: Dynamic and Dynamic Plus with 210 hp and 450 kilometres of autonomy, and Vz Extreme with 225 hp, the protagonist of the test. Equipped with Cup Bucket seats, Dcc Sport suspension, Esc Off mode, 19" rims with 235 mm tyres and Vaq electronic anti-slip differential, it gave us a very pleasant first taste on the road. The 'secret' of Cupra, and especially Raval, is not to forget that the car has to convey emotion, from the design to the materials used on board. And while more details will have to wait for the presentation of the definitive model, from what we were able to see in the preview, the Raval will start 'from the bottom' of a series of innovations expected on all the future Cupra range, such as a new technology for the production of seats capable of reducing environmental impact (all the supply chain is within 100 km of Martorell) and at the same time increasing customisation and making processes faster.
Cupra Raval, prices
But how much will the Cupra Raval cost? The price list has not yet been announced, but a starting figure of around 26,000 euros is expected.
