An innovative SME that speaks the language of the future. This is Innonation, a Sicilian company founded to develop high-tech solutions and now a national reference point in the fields of digital transformation and cybersecurity. With offices in Catania, Palermo, Rome and Milan, the company, whose CEO is engineer Sara Puleo, has built a network of competences that combines research, enterprise and digital security, also contributing to the strengthening of the National Cyber Security Perimeter. With a group of highly experienced professionals in the field of digital transformation and cybersecurity,' the company explains, 'Innonation has created an organisational structure that enables it to tackle the most complex challenges in the technology sector with efficiency and professionalism. The team is divided into specific areas of expertise, each of which plays a fundamental role in guaranteeing the quality and effectiveness of the services offered'. This activity has had clear benefits on the accounts and the number of employees: the company has gone from a turnover of just over 1.8 million in 2021 to 2.8 million in 2024; there were 23 employees, who were 7 in 2021 at the end of 2024. The company was ranked 405th on the 2026 Sole 24 Ore - Statista Growth Leaders list.
All of Innonation's activities are supported by an in-house R&D lab, where software platforms and proprietary solutions are designed in highly innovative areas: digital services, for the certification and secure storage of digital transactions; internet of things, with open source systems for the management of digital twins; cybersecurity, with technologies for the defence and prevention of cyber threats. In 2024, the company strengthened its investments in R&D and expanded its collaborations with universities, research centres and industrial partners. With a share capital of EUR 1 million and a network of offices in four Italian cities, Innonation looks to 2025 as a year of further expansion. This year, the company explains, Innonation will complete its accreditation as a Testing Laboratory with the National Cybersecurity Agency. This milestone will allow the company to certify the security posture of companies subject to the NIS2 directive, thus contributing to the protection of the country's critical infrastructure and essential services. The objective is clear: to become a recognised player in the European cybersecurity validation landscape, supporting public bodies and private companies.
