Lecce-Bari-Naples direct Frecciarossa train starts in July
Stops at Brindisi, Barletta, Foggia, Benevento and Napoli Afragola

Tickets are now on sale for the first direct Frecciarossa Lecce-Bari-Naples, the new Trenitalia (FS Group) service that creates the first direct connection between the two capitals of Puglia and Campania and links Salento to Naples without changes.
The whistle will blow on 1 July from Lecce at 6.10pm, while the first departure from Napoli Centrale is scheduled for 2 July at 6.45am.
In both directions, the service will stop at Brindisi, Bari Centrale, Barletta, Foggia, Benevento and Napoli Afragola, expanding travel opportunities and offering an easier and more comfortable solution for travel between Puglia and Campania.
The new train will make it possible to reach Naples from Bari in about three and a half hours and from Lecce in about five hours, thanks also to the activation of the new Naples-Cancello route. This will reduce travel time and make connections between the South and the Naples node, a strategic hub for national mobility, more direct. This is the first phase of the work on the new Naples-Bari high-speed line, at the end of which journey times between the two cities will be further reduced.
