Dac expands its team with nine new recruits
Avio, Sapa, Apa, Cpe Italia, Officine Meccaniche Irpine, Deagle, Airizon, Tecnomatic, Phoenix and Marotta have joined the Campania District
New members have joined the Campania Aerospace District (DAC): first and foremost Avio, a company that manufactures launch vehicles, followed by Sapa, Apa, Cpe Italia, Officine Meccaniche Irpine, Deagle, Airizon, Tecnomatic, Phoenix and Marotta. These new members confirm the DAC’s ability to attract large, medium and small enterprises from across the entire Campania aerospace supply chain.
The admission of the new members was ratified at the General Meeting of the Campania Aerospace District, which took place at the Città della Scienza headquarters. The General Meeting, chaired by Professor and Engineer Luigi Carrino, was attended by the members, the Board of Directors, the Board of Auditors and, for the extraordinary part of the meeting, Notary Lottini of Naples.
During the meeting, the chair reported on the activities carried out in 2025, with particular reference to strategic projects, business support services, internationalisation initiatives, activities for young people and the strengthening of the DAC’s operational structure.
Among the most significant outcomes, the General Meeting approved the admission of new members and the related share capital transactions, enabling the District to reach the milestone of one million in share capital (up from 959,500). However, the transaction also serves to further strengthen the DAC’s membership base by integrating new technological and industrial expertise in strategic areas such as space propulsion, launch vehicles, high-performance materials and components, electronic interconnections, aerostructures, precision machining, aerospace software, automation and digital innovation.
The General Meeting also approved the updates relating to corporate governance, confirming Mr Luca Petronzio on the Board of Directors as representative of the ‘Space and Launch Vehicles’ division, and the appointment of Annalaura Lettieri, a lawyer, to represent the ‘Maintenance and Transformation’ sector. The report also highlighted the strengthening of the District’s working groups. The four groups already in operation — Ipersonica HBJ, Urban Air Mobility, Nano- and Microsatellites, and Earth Observation — are joined by two new initiatives currently being launched, dedicated to Propulsion and Access to Space, thanks in part to the presence within the DAC of leading industrial players.
