- Tocci (manager director Dacia Italia): we have confirmed the solidity of the brand
In a market in obvious difficulty, Dacia Italia has managed to stem losses and consolidate its position. Guido Tocci, manager director of Dacia Italia, used a very clear and direct metaphor when presenting the results for 2025. 'The market,' he said, 'has been a sea with very high waves, but we have shown that we are solid, we have limited our losses and, thanks to the general fall in the market, we have increased our share in Italy'.
A total of 97,198 vehicles were registered in 2025, down 2.19% from the previous year. The share grew to 5.67%, a record for the brand present in Italy since 2008. The year 2025 confirmed Dacia's strengths: value for money, positioning and a no-frills product policy that meets customers' needs for technology and reliability. An empathy confirmed by the retail data, where Dacia was confirmed as the fourth brand for car sales. Dacia's drop was 4.7%, exactly half of the market (9.4%). Market share rose to 10.6%, half a point higher than in 2024.
Confirming Dacia's special relationship with customers are the figures for LPG vehicles and the loyalty ratings achieved thanks to the Zen programme. Dacia, with 58.5% of the market total, is widely confirmed as the leader in the LPG segment. The Zen programme, with the extension of free maintenance for up to seven years, has increased customer loyalty by two per cent and increased the number of contracts by ten thousand (61,339).
For 2026, most expectations are still pinned on Sandero, with over 49,000 registrations the best-selling car of the group and the best-selling foreign car in Italy. Sandero, unveiled at the 2025 data presentation, will be available with a cosmetic restyling and new equipment.
