Daniela Gregis: a story of silk, cotton and colours
The brand has carved out a niche for itself on the global market – In Milan, where it has just held a fashion show, its products can be found at Anaconda, 10 Corso Como, Biffi and Imarika
Key points
As in last February, the setting for the Daniela Gregis fashion show was the evocative Oratorio della Passione complex, next to the historic Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio. An intimate venue, where every sound echoes gently and every ray of light illuminates without being overwhelming. Here lies the parallel with the vision of the brand created by designer Daniela Gregis in Bergamo, which is now stocked in specialist multi-brand boutiques across Italy and many other countries: in Milan, it can be found at Anaconda, 10 Corso Como, Biffi, Imarika and NON – as erroneously stated on page 28 of *Il Sole 24 Ore* on 25 September – rather than Chicchi Ginepri (an error for which we apologise to our readers and all those concerned).
A distinct and consistent style
Alongside the stylistic vision – a wardrobe that is never flashy, designed to present itself to the world with clarity yet always in a gentle, almost whispered manner – are the fabrics, which have always been meticulously chosen whilst also taking centre stage in intriguing combinations. For Spring/Summer 2027, silks and cottons in light and cream tones predominate, though there are plenty of splashes of colour.
