D&D Holding invests 15 million in Caserta in a recycling industrial hub

New production lines, upgrading of logistical infrastructures, and implementation of cutting-edge technologies for the recovery of packaging waste: this is the core of the investment plan for the two-year period 2025-2026 of D&D Holding, an integrated industrial group active in the circular economy, logistics, and waste treatment and recovery, with a total investment of over 15 million at Gricignano di Aversa in the province of Caserta.
Produce 45 thousand tonnes per year of CSS
.A centre for the treatment and valorisation of plastic and paper production waste will be built, aiming to produce 45,000 tonnes per year of high-quality CSS (Solid Secondary Fuel). This closes the circle of the industrial chain, reducing dependence on external waste disposal companies and increasing production self-sufficiency.
In addition, with an investment of EUR 8 million (part of the 15), the upgrading of food-grade PET recycling activities is underway, which includes the modernisation of the existing recycling line and the construction of two new storage areas. The project aims at the production of food-grade rPET resin granules, which can be used in the food and pharmaceutical sectors, in line with the evolution of European regulations. Negotiations with important players in the beverage sector for the supply of food-grade RPET granule are already at an advanced stage.
Cellulosic mps line completed this year
Finally, work is nearing completion on the new automated plant for the selection and production of high-quality cellulosic MPS (Materia Prima Seconda). The plant, operational from June 2025, will give new life to waste derived from urban, industrial and commercial collection of cellulosic matrix waste.
