Angela Luce, singer and actress, the 'voice of Naples', has died at the age of 87. A Mediterranean beauty and great talent, last year she was awarded a prize in the Senate, in 1995 she won a David di Donatello for L'amore Molesto by Mario Martone, she acted with Eduardo De Filippo whom she considered her master, Peppino and Totò but also for the Decameron set in Naples by Pier Paolo Pasolini.
Her Bammenella by Raffaele Viviani has entered song history. Queen of the screenplays with Mario Merola, she also worked with numerous greats in cinema, from Marcello Mastroianni to Nino Manfredi. She came third at Sanremo 1975 with Ipocrisia.
