Death of Giuliano Spazzali, he was Sergio Cusani's lawyer in Mani Pulite

- Giuliano Spazzali, one of the lawyers known throughout Italy for having been Soccorso Rosso's lawyer and for having defended Sergio Cusani in the Enimont trial during the Mani pulite investigation in the 1990s, died today in Milan at the age of 87. He represented the counterpart of the then public prosecutor Antonio Di Pietro. Born in 1939 in Trieste, Spazzali had been ill for some time. During his career he also assisted Pietro Valpreda, the anarchist who was unjustly accused of the Piazza Fontana massacre.
