Decree worth €19 million signed to create additional temporary posts for ATA staff

The Minister for Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara, today signed a decree allocating an additional 19 million to the Regional Education Offices for the creation of temporary posts for administrative, technical and auxiliary staff during the 2026/2027 school year to support educational institutions as part of the school network rationalisation process.
The additional funds allocated will enable the creation of at least 700 temporary posts for administrative assistants – a figure which may increase to include support staff and operational personnel – ensuring better organisation and functionality within schools, with a view to guaranteeing pupils’ right to education through practical support for those schools undergoing restructuring.
