Delmastro updates asset statement: there is the sale of '5 Forks'

Here comes an update of former undersecretary Andrea Delmastro's property records deposited and available on the Chamber's website. In fact, the MP's online box now contains a document dated 28 March 2026 listing the co-ownership of a series of buildings, as well as all the steps, up to the transfer, of the shares held in the company 'Le 5 Forchette srl' on which the investigators' spotlight is shining.

The new document states that on 16/12/2024 the MEP was a 25% shareholder of 'Le 5 Forchette srl'; and on 3 November 2025 he was a 100% shareholder of 'G&G srl'. On 24/11/2025 it appears the total sale of the shareholding in 'Le 5 Forchette srl' in favour of 'G&G srl' and on 27 February 2026 the total sale of the indirect shareholding held in G&G srl in 'Le 5 Forchette Srl'.

Mauro and Miriam Caroccia, investigated by the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office in the proceedings on the company 'Le 5 Forchette', in which the former undersecretary of Justice Andrea Delmastro was also a shareholder, have 'transferred and reinvested' in the company the proceeds of the illegal activities of the Camorra-style Senese clan. This is what emerges from the documents of the Rome DDA investigation in which the crimes of money laundering and fictitious registration of assets are alleged. An illegal activity aggravated by the fact that it was 'committed in order to facilitate the mafia-type association' headed by the Senese group. According to the indictment, the two suspects, in December 2024, 'invested' in the Srl in order to 'allow the clan to increase and strengthen its position in the territory through the control of economic activities' and 'to reinvest the capital illicitly accumulated over the years'.

The first interrogations are scheduled for the middle of this week. Laundering and fictitious registration of assets with mafia aggravation are alleged in the proceedings. The first to be questioned by the prosecutors of the DDA of piazzale Clodio will be Mauro Caroccia, who is serving a four-year prison sentence for mafia-related offences, and his daughter Miriam (both defended by the lawyer Fabrizio Gallo), who is a shareholder of the limited company that managed the 'Bisteccheria d'Italia' restaurant in Via Tuscolana in Rome.

The Bureau of the Parliamentary Anti-Mafia Commission has unanimously approved the start of a cycle of hearings on the Delmastro affair and as part of the investigation into the Senese clan, which the commission has already dealt with during the 'Family Affairs and Hydra' strand. The Commission 'will proceed with the request to listen to the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office, the police and Gdf, the Dap, the Ucis, the escort and the former undersecretary himself, in compliance with the principles of rigour, transparency and timeliness that characterise its institutional action'. This was learnt from sources in the chairmanship of the parliamentary anti-mafia commission, according to which 'the decision was taken with full agreement by the majority, in particular by FdI, which also highlighted the need to clarify the ways in which information relating to an ongoing investigation, of particular delicacy, was disseminated in the press. As part of its activities, the Commission will also carry out a mission to Milan on 16 April, during which the profiles related to the 'Hydra' investigation will also be examined in depth. The Commission reaffirms its commitment to ensuring that the facts are fully investigated, while respecting the prerogatives of the judicial authorities and safeguarding the integrity of the institutions'.
