Deutsche Telekom: Q2 group revenue up 4.4% to 29.9 bn, share buyback increased
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Deutsche Telekom, the German telecoms operator, closed the second quarter with revenue up 4.4 per cent to €29.9 billion. The company announced this, having revised its full-year estimate for free cash flow after leases upwards to around €20 billion, from the previous forecast of over €19.8 billion, based on T-Mobile’s performance. Deutsche Telekom also announced that it will increase its share buyback programme for 2026 to up to €3 billion, following second-quarter results in line with expectations. The buybacks now planned bring the annual total up to €5 billion. So far, the company has stated that it has repurchased shares worth around €1.2 billion in 2026.
