Dexeleance, a listed high-end design group with 11 portfolio companies, enters the capital of Roda, a company specialising in luxury outdoor furniture.
The Roda Group, with production and sales presence in Europe, the United States and Asia, is among the first Italian brands to develop a vision of the outdoor world as a protagonist of the modern lifestyle. The strategic alliance with Dexelance will further consolidate this vision, strengthening the brand's positioning in luxury outdoor furniture and raising the level of challenge in global markets.
Dexelance strengthens in outdoor
Dexelance - which controls 11 companies and 14 brands in various segments of design, furniture and lighting and closed the financial year 2024 with revenues in excess of EUR 300 million, about three quarters of which were generated abroad - through this transaction aims to add to the specialisations of the companies it already controls a significant share of the Roda Group, thus strengthening itself in one of the most promising sectors of the industry.
With this partnership, Roda will assume the role of leader of Dexelance's future investments in the segment, making available its know-how, production hubs and consolidated distribution network, with the aim of fostering the development of additional companies, identified for their complementarity, according to a synergic and systemic logic within a still fragmented supply chain.
Transaction details
.The letter of intent envisages, initially, Dexelance's entry into Roda's share capital with a minority shareholding, partly through the purchase of shares and partly through the subscription of a capital increase to support new investments and to initiate a new phase of growth for the Roda group, and in a second phase Dexelance's purchase of the majority of Roda's share capital through the exercise of appropriate call and put options.
